Dear MCG users,
I get many questions about the authorization file, or why people have to register at all. In this news article I will try to explain why I have introduced this new method. First of all, alot of people were annoyed because they had to enter their username and password everytime they wanted to use the MCG. I ask people to register because I want to know who is using my program and how many people are using it. This is necessary because if there are to many users, the MCG will be useless because the premium accounts used by the MCG will die too fast. The same holds for the authorization method. I have chosen to upload it on filesonic/fileserve to earn back (a part of) the money I have to pay for the new host, database and domainname, just to make the MCG more reliable and the service better. So all I ask in return for the use of MCG is to download a small file daily. I hope you all understand this.
I have also added a chatbox and a contact form to help you as much as I can. Because I can't do this alone I have asked some great people to help me. When you have a question you can always contact them in the chatbox. You can recognise them by their purple text. At the moment the moderators are:
